For those times when somthing or someone wants to kill you, the Emergency Safehouse. Made with double thick obsidian walls, and a iron door unaffected by redstone torches placed by others, plus with a lava defence system for if the door is destroyed. The safehouse comes equiped with an emergency supply kit and a crafting table, plus a second story with turrets and ledges to help deter enimies.

I think sethbling has an mcedit script to create spawners that when activated with redstone, will create falling sand that turns into blocks when they land. Essentially, you pull a lever and the building appears, pull another and the building disappears.
