Hello Everybody!

Welcome to Season 1 Episode 6 of 11500 BC.
Today I like to introduce you the quantity masters of pyramids building of The Kush (Nubian).

-Thanks a lot for watching and Enjoy!-

Nubian pyramids
are pyramids that were built by the rulers of the ancient Kushite kingdoms. The Kushites built these pyramids some 800 years after the pyramids of Ancient Egypt were built. They are thought to have mimicked the workmanship of the pyramids of Ancient Egypt, but on a much lesser scale.

The area of the Nile valley known as Nubia, which lies within present day Sudan, was home to three Kushite kingdoms during antiquity. The first had its capital at Kerma (2600–1520 BC). The second was centered on Napata (1000–300 BC). Finally, the last kingdom was centered on Meroë (300 BC–AD 300).

Kerma was Nubia's first centralized state with its own indigenous forms of architecture and burial customs. The last two kingdoms, Napata and Meroë, were heavily influenced by ancient Egypt culturally, economically, politically, and militarily. The Kushite kingdoms in turn competed strongly with Egypt economically and militarily. In 751 BC, the Kushite king Piankhi overthrew the 24th Dynasty and united the entire Nile valley from the delta to the city of Napata under his rule. Piankhi and his descendants ruled as the pharaohs of the Twenty-fifth Dynasty. The Napatan domination of Egypt ended with the Assyrian conquest of Egypt in 656 BC.

I want to keep these project relativly short so I will only rebuild
the Pyramid Field of Nuri & Meroe and one or two local palaces.
All other things like Sacred Mountain sites , more amun temples I will do hopeful in the next 10 years. xD
I will add a video and more pictures with the next update. This Project can be easy reached through the Portals at Spawn.

That's a lot of pyramids :O but I noticed one of them is in the water, is that how it's supposed to be?

how it supposed to be 3000 years ago is always hard to tell. Even with archeologic sources on hand.
For this episode I also dont bond myself strictly to the sources I find as it would make it almost impossible to reconstruct buildings of the kush on my map. At least the angle , size of the pyramids as well the different structures in chambers are as sources tell.

Actually still a dozen pyriamids in this field are missing  but their is no space.

I kept this small pool as gets extreme hot around there and people in any kind of survival mode would proably die. xD

Lovely seeing some more antiquated and obscure pyramids, especially from Kush. Well done!

Well everyone has heard of the Great Pyramids of Egypt, but a rare few people actually venture down into the history of the more southern sections of the Nile. Lots of people don't know what Kush is or was. :P
