Welcome to the ancient world of 11500 BC,


Some of you might already seen some of my ancient builds here.

After 3 years of Minecraft I am now ready for this specific project which hopefully keep me busy for the next 5 years or so. xD

The idea to this project is quite simple.

Why just building one roman house,
One Greek city
or one Chinese empire.
Our ancient world is full of fantastic cultures.
I want bring then all under one roof.

This Map should feature the real power houses like Rome, tang china, Babylon, Aztec, Maya and Inca..
and the little places like Stonehenge or stone chapels of Lalibela (Axum),
but also legendary/mythical places like Atlantis, Noah’s Arch, Sodom
and my "small project" of the last 3 years a country called Meteria with an ancient cities like Antikpolis, Maxima Nova.

To relate different cultures of different times together I figure out it might be the best to put them in an time frame where there all might not existed yet. Over the last 3 month I collected a lot of data of our last glacial period and create now this scenario with our earth at 11500 BC the Ice still mostly frozen and the sea level about 100 meter below today's.

To have some space of for this huge variety of architectural beauty this map has a size of
21480x5760 which is still quite small but it's all I can do and hopefully need.


So far I just building on this scenario, but will be thankful for all for your input and ideas what more I/we could do.

1. I am in the processes on try to make a authentic earth map of our past (based on an NASA Height map and a lot of trial and error lowering the sea level) with worldpainter -done-
2. Then I need to up fix some places manually with creative (rivers, mountain tops, caves? - I will do that in time -
3. And will start then to import with your permission some of the real nice ancient project. - I start with building first -
4. a) The rest I will build then in Survival over the next decade or so. xD

4. b) I am honestly very inexperience of server so If we get an group of ancient lovers together we also can make this ancient world lively together.
Step 3 and 4 I will adjust a bit and divide my progress in season 5 Season.

Addition:
I had to cut the earth map due to resource issues with my PC/World painter.
My focus is now on the part of our world where most of the ancient cultures messed with each other.
