I'm not quite sure I understand the use of this map. If someone is looking for a huge area for building, chances are that they will be editing it themselves instead of limiting their map to this pre-set one. I'm sorry, but I just don't think it's the breakthrough you meant it to be.

some people like to harvest materials and build from whats available rather then use mods like i do ...

Exactly. That is the way I am. Check out my Mojang Logo project I posted. That was completely harvested and created without mods. If someone is given an edited world, that takes away the fun of actually making it themselves.
