Anyway, there's some good news about Balefire arcano-tech. I can't test it in higher versions, but Sam has confirmed the theory is still sound.
If you're interested I can put together an example ship (It'll be 1.5.2 and only a model really) that is built in your style. I'm a neutral shipbuilding contractor so it's fine if you want to expand your fleet through another shipyard.
