Today i made my take on the classic falling player trap using a BUD switch and the inherent sneakiness of string :) This design is really small and compact using only one piece of redstone dust & only one redstone blocks. This design is also really cool because it can be used as a normal door and activated when the player wants if your on an SMP server or doing some PvP.
