Fantasy Buildings

As is inevitable for me, I created lore for this, even though it is just a collection of buildings.

The former palace of the kings of the blue cloak is a wonder to behold. Numerous rooms, halls, and towers stretch as far as the eye can see. Grandiose halls tower above more modest cloisters and mansions. Hundreds of kings lived and died here; each one adding something to the maze of structures. Now, all that is left of these kings is their works. They have all passed away. Years of war ended in a conquest, and the conquest ended the kings. Graciously, the conquerors accepted the surrender of the palace, and left it in the care of the college of builders: a school of architecture founded years ago by the kings to create a steady stream of ideas and building projects. These days, the palace is no longer added on to; instead, the college trains future architects and engineers to supply the needs of the wider world.
