Featherchutes- Command block tutorial

Feathers in Minecraft are a little boring. But with this set of command blocks, it amps up feathers to a whole new level. This is 1.10+. What this set of command blocks do is that it makes it so that when you put a feather in your offhand, you get a levitation effect of 250. When levitation effects are put from 190 to 255, it breaks and does something different. To learn more, check out Ant Venom's Video. It will also give you the effect of jump boost 255, which, like the levitation effect, when put to its limits, breaks down. The 255 effect of jump boost makes it so that you don't get fall damage, but you don't get a jump boost effect as well. So, now that the explanation is out of the way, here are the commands and how to use them.

Command 1:/testfor @p {Inventory:[{Slot:-106b,id:minecraft:feather,Count:1b}]}
This will test for a feather in your offhand. Set this command block to always active and repeating.
Put a comparator facing outwards, so now when you hold the feather in your offhand, it sends out a Redstone signal.
Put another command block with the command of /effect@p minecraft:levitation 1 250 .This command will give you the descending effect. This command block will be set to repeating and needs redstone. Next, put a comparator from the first command block to another command block. The last command block will have the settings of repeating and needs redstone. The command for this command block will be /effect@p minecraft:jump_boost 1 255 .This command would make it so that you won't take fall damage.
