this is my attempt to do the Ragnarok from final fantasy 8
bare in mind im no where near finished yet im more focused on the inside
i had a big problem working out where the entrance actually fit in the over all design and came to the conclusion that its attached by lifts rather than doors ( still have a slight problem with how it fits since left lift connects to a right door. it works far better if lvl 1 is rotated 180 degrees) as it stands the lifts to lvl 1 are opasits to how thay are in the actual ragnarok
anyway im working on getting the body shape correct for now il work on the actual color and interior when i get time (yes i know theres alot of red :) )
to do list
- ALL detail outside (will take a while since that's going to be the hardest bit
- make bridge 2 blocks both bigger, higher and longer
- use some spair room in the ship for random ship stuff (thinking cabin, shower / loo and galley) lots of space in the ass behind hanger and sides of air room
-maybe some redstone stuff eg machine guns at front and a tnt cannon if i get round to it
-maybe add npc's (card club for people who know ff8 and the other 5 members of the party) undecided
-change stairs to 1 wide (fit better)
-edit the body to make it more rounded especially in noticeable areas eg hanger

i have a 90% ish build done but its got the front and wings burrowed form another build (www.planetminecraft.com/project/ff8-ragnarok-spaceship/)
with this the body of the ship is compleat apart from i want to make hanger rounder and i need 2 do color details.
any and all feedback would be stellar

first update
iv spent the better part of my evening doing the inside of the Ragnarok and im more or less happy with it given the limitations of blocks :) the way iv don't the interior is basically booted up my ff8 on steam (better quality than ps1/2) and took pics and worked from the pics to replicate the design, this would probably be more effective in tekkit or another mod but as it stands im very happy with it. as for the outside i do have a plan but i need 2 sort a few things out first before i do or say anything on that.
