Flying Temple



It appeared almost by accident — first as a silhouette somewhere above the clouds, and then gradually it began to grow, gaining columns, bridges, light. I wanted to create the feeling of a place that had always been there, simply unnoticed for a long time. A temple floating in the air, as if detached from the earth and from time itself.

During the building process, I kept catching myself thinking that what mattered most wasn’t the scale, but the sense of height. Standing at the edge of a platform with nothing but sky beneath you. Watching the light pass through stained glass and gently settle onto the stone. Seeing only the silhouette from afar — light, almost weightless.

I experimented a lot with shapes, redesigned the tops of the towers, adjusted proportions, searching for that balance between monumentality and airiness. I wanted the temple to feel majestic, yet not heavy — as if it remains suspended in the sky not because of blocks, but because of belief in it.
