This is version 1 of a functional Pacman game inside Minecraft that I call MineMan.

VERSION 2 IS HERE

Features
  • Fully functional, life size, automated Pacman arena.
  • A "Win" chime to let you know when you have won.

  • The only practical use for slime balls!

Coming soon in Version 2
  • Mechanism for preventing you from winning if you just wait around for the "pellets" to despawn.

  • Zombies as "Ghosts"
  • Larger maze
  • Lightstone / glass roof for better lighting and spectator viewing
  • 4 "Power Buttons" in each corner that, once all have been pressed, prevent more zombies from entering the arena
  • Obsidian construction for looks and durability

I will be adding schematic images soon for anyone who wants to make one themselves.

Schematic images added. If they're not clear enough, or you have questions, feel free to ask. Or you can just download the MCEdit schematic that I finally got around to making!

It is recommended that you replace the switch with a button, as that is a much better way of activating the game. Why I didn't think of that originally, I have no idea...

The download is in MCEdit's .schematic format. All that you have to do is load it in MCEdit and place it in your existing world.

Best. Prize. Ever.

I am always interested in complex Minengineering projects. I've got a couple of "game" projects that I'm working on ATM. The primary being version 2 of this. The others are mostly in the theoretical stages, but I'd be more than happy to share and hear your ideas, and help if I can.

Another MCEdit failure, I would just delete this if I were you.. Pretty embarrassing and obviously done in MCEdit
