90 years ago, Juan Ponce de Leon was sent by the Spanish Crown to locate the legendary Fountain of Youth. All of the journals and letters in which he sent back to the Throne stated that he hadno t found anything. Approximately 16 years after his departure, the search had been called off. The conclusion of his exploration stated the Fountain of Youth was merely a legend, and that it never existed. Ponce de Leon lived out the remainder of his days as governor of Puerto Rico.
90 years later, you have been sent under the Spanish crown to finish what he started. You are the captain(s) of an exploration team ordered to search in every location in which Ponce de Leon had written he had. You have separated your crew into different squads, assuming that they could cover more ground by doing so. After the whole crew has been separated, all that remains now is you, and your two dogs (Credo and Gloria.) You decide to anchor your frigate outside of Hispaniola, the oldest Spanish colonial settlement in the Atlantic coastal area. Eager to find the legendary fountain, you set out from your ship, completely unaware of all the dangers aheado ¦
