So... apparently you need to download something called the Staircraft mod, cause I went to load it, and it said there was like 420 blocks that wouldn't show up due to me lacking them.

That's only because it's present in the world items registry. Whenever you log into a world with a mod, its items / blocks get added to that item registry. (Not sure what it's properly called, but that's what it is.) They aren't present in any builds in the world or even the world region itself, derpy forge just yells at you because it thinks they are since they're in the item registry. You're free to log into the world without those mods without causing any damage :P

Don't forget slabcraft. Apparently I needed that one as well. Be advised, I just checked and these are the only mods you actually need to open the world.
Anyways, Thanks Garrett for this awesome world for us to tour. And if you were wondering, it's me Derek Frost Westbrook from Deviantart, I just use a different name here.
