GELREDOME STADIUM
GelreDome is a football stadium used mainly by SBV Vitesse Arnhem in the Eredivisie. Construction began in 1996 and was inaugurated on March 25, 1998, 2 years after the construction. GelreDome was the first stadium in the world to feature a retractable roof and pitch system, with the goal of creating a modern and innovative stadium at the time. The stadium is mainly used in football, besides it is often used in concerts with a maximum capacity of 41000 seats.
