This was my signature house and hat I built on my friends server (imported back to my and made some minor imrpovements). I turned it into a floating house because I was in the mood to be in the sky (funny because my character is a dwarf). This house didn't take me very long to build, around 45 minutes in total because I have built it every time I go on a server so it is really easy for me to build.

Those are probably servers I have been on. The house isn't super good but it is my signature house and I make it (or variations of it) on every server I go on

Take the area you want floating and dig down a few blocks and selet it out (using mcedit or worldedit) then copy it then paste it in the air then use the brush command to chip away at the blocks until it looks like it has risin into the air. Very simple really
