557
This is my 1:1 scale reconstruction of the Hagia sophia and the Agustaion as they might of appeared in 557.A.D.
The hagia sophia was the pinnacle of architecture and engineering for the eastern roman empire/ byzantines and it is by far there most important surviving structure.During its time as a church the hagia sophia was the eastern orthodox equivalent to the Vatican and it has remained important to there faith even as the hagia sophia was a mosque for 500 years. The main domes width of 30m was the largest church dome of its time untill the 15th century. The main dome was replaced in 557 after it fell in because the original justinian version was too flat and it fell in.The Agustaion was one of Constantinoples most important public squares due to how close it was to the great palace and the hagia sophia for which it served as entrances for.It also had the most famous column in constantinople, the column of Justinian that was as tall as the top dome on the hagia sophia Due to all the conflicting info on the agustaion i chose to blend the styling from all the reconstructions into it.
The interior for the hagia sophia is primarly based on this video www.youtube.com/watch?v=HQ9KfQBwhIs
Please enjoy hope it inspires more roman builds you can use it however you like just give me credit for building it.Pm me if you make a video of it and il post it here.

For example, the most noticeable omissions in your Augustaion is mostly statuary. Such as the three barbarian kings kneeling in submission to Justinian. Eudoxia, Constantine and his sons, Honorius, Arcadius etc. The sources tell us the square was extremely rich in statuary and your reconstruction seems to be missing that aspect of it.
