With this schematic all torches that you hold will create a personal light!

Features:
- All torches that are held will create a light around the player.
- Be careful in multiplayer...
- Redstone explained!

Note: May not work in areas with a low ceiling.

If you jump don't you risk entering the end? Also does the endportal destroy blocks above your head if you walk into a low ceiling room?

The End Portal will only replace air blocks so it will not destroy blocks. The End Portal also gets destroyed as you walk so that it is not left behind. Also the End Portals are 5 blocks above the player and get destroyed with movement so even if you flew up very fast in creative you could not enter the end. However, if you were in Multiplayer and one player holds a torch another player could jump into the portal.
