One day, the ruler of the gods, Upsi, forbade gods from gods from marrying each other, fearing conflict between the gods. Despite this, the god of the sky, Kèmelom, and the goddess of nature, Bhewtis, fell in love and got married behind Upsi's back. After finding out, Kúbāmi, the god of evil, told Upsi of Kèmelom and Bhwetis' marriage and aided Upsi in chasing after the married couple. With help from the other gods, the married couple fled from Kúbāmi and Upsi for 40 years. After 40 long years, the couple found a land that was unknown to gods and man. In this mysterious land, they built a simple home in the heavens and a garden called Derō Ghortos where they lived on their own for the rest of eternity.
