Helms deep is the fortress of Rohan. The project was lead by editor Aandolaf2. The deeping wall was built by the members and droogs of mcme, it took them 2 minutes!

Minecraft Middle Earth (MCME): This server is an attempt to make an accurate representation of J.R.R. Tolkieno s world of middle-Earth in Minecraft. We are only scaling down the distance, architecturally we are keeping it as close as possible to what has been written about, obviously making changes to keep within the height limit. We are not basing solely on the movies; our Middle-Earth is based on the books themselves.
