This design is one of my latest favorites! Since horses are my go-to means of transportation in Minecraft, I have always tried to come up with a functional yet aesthetically pleasing stable that can be expanded if necessary. This design offers all that, because it is sort of a construction kit, if you will. There are three separate horseboxes built wall to wall in this version of the design. But you can just as well only build one or add three more of them. If you don't like the small enclosure in the back of the stables (I do recommend it though – it's perfect for breeding two specific horses by only letting the two of them out there), you can close the backside. If you need so many horseboxes that building them in a row would look stupid, simply build two separate rows facing each other; you might even want to connect the roof in the middle so as to have a little alleyway through your stables. Even describing these possibilities I get excited to try some of them myself.
