There's really not a whole lot to say about this one: I found a beautiful little Taiga village in a survival game, and I wanted to build a house on the outskirts that would match the look of its surroundings. It's not exactly the same style as the village's – there's just something about the utter simplicity of the default Minecraft buildings that I find very hard to capture or replicate in any structure larger than 5x5 blocks. But it has all the same materials, and it definitely fits the vibe and scale. It also has every possible amenity except for an enchantment table and a nether portal; that's just not the type of gameplay I usually find myself embracing. Shouldn't be too hard to expand this little ensemble, though, maybe an adjoining little hut or a basement. Anyway, I mostly focused on a simple, cohesive decorative style, as with the well, the chicken coop, and the hedges and lanterns. As always: Take whatever ideas you like about it and make it your own.
