I have made an ice factory for use on my world. it uses pistons and 4 smart pistons to grab push one block of ice generated from an infinite water stream to a chunk 13x7x6.
the world is best viewed using summerfields texture pack
beware that if you use this schematic you need to place the building in a taiga or snow biome. if the water can't freeze the factory can't produce ice
