IJN Tango Japanese Battleship

IJN Tango was a battleship designed by the Imperial Japanese Navy for the 6-9 Fleet Expansion Program. She was laid down in late 1920 and commissioned in early 1922. She was the first battleship armed with 18 inch guns. She carried supplies to the survivors of the Great Kantō earthquake. She was heavily modernized in 1935-1937 with a new pagoda style mast and a new funnel. She would receive another refit in late 1943. She would receive more AA and more radars and range finders.
