The sloped peaks were drenched in color, making it full of life.

The sharp, tall peaks were covered in lush, colorful foliage and beech trees. Rocks could be seen here and there. This weathered terrain was beautiful and filled with color.

I sometimes feel like I had fell in love with Minecraft biomes, they give the terrain so much color! This, after all, is the reason this map was called "A Forest of Color". I experimented with more realistic deposition, and I textured the stone with pressure plates and buttons, giving the stone much more dimension. This map with made in WorldMachine and exported using WorldPainter. Right now I am low on terrain ideas, and I would love it if people message me to give me terrain ideas. If I use your terrain idea, your Planet Minecraft account will be linked!

Thanks for stopping by! Be sure to give a diamond if you liked it

Due to the schematic size being ~45 MB, I cannot upload it to the Planet Minecraft project. If you want the schematic, please download it from here!

The trees I used are all from my custom tree repository, OpenTrees. This is a tree repository that ANYONE CAN CONTRIBUTE TO! I would love it if someone help me and my friend Wunder to create more beautiful, realistic trees. :D

If you need terrain ideas, I have no idea what you've already done, but maybe something like a dense forest? Like, podzol/coarse ground in most areas, boulders, trees and such. I'm not sure how to work this program, so the limits of it are beyond me. Just an idea :P

you did a good job with the height map, but the coloring could be a bit better. try using more than 1 shade of gray (cobble, stone and andesite all have almost the same shade of gray)
