Operational Use

    • Relatively thin side and rear armor made it vulnerable to flanking attacks.
    • Mechanical reliability issues due to late-war production pressures and material shortages.

    • Mainly served in heavy tank destroyer battalions (Schwere Panzerjäger-Abteilungen).
