Okay, so here's the deal folks. My team and I have decided that since this map's construction has started, our creative direction has changed and our style has evolved into something much more complex. SO, we are going to upload all we have currently on the map. Keep in mind a few things while you explore however:
1. There are currently no adventure elements.
2. Some doors will be closed and can be opened with redstone, some can not and you will have to break through.
3. The path linking the main town and the starter island is not finished. To find your way to the main town (where most work is done), you must follow the mountain range or find the cliff coast.
4. Remember that a lot of areas were started and not many were finished. Our aim was to build things as our style developed, so older areas did not lose style with the newer parts of the map.
5. We had some issues when first making the map and could never quite figure it out so the spawn isn't always in the maps confine, but can change to be over 4000 blocks away from the spawn. So the coordinates for spawn are X: 6236 Y: 64 Z: 4997. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause for your map viewing.
Thank you all for your kind words and support. We will be starting this series again and this time with much more thought. You can expect a new project soon enough and I guarantee, you will like it.

Good evening fellow adventurers.
I would like to welcome you to my emporium of authored goods. My shack of turbulent tales. My hovel of blooming artists, and failed heroes. Many an adventurer have walked through those doors, but none have remained here through a whole story. Will you be the first?
Today, I have just brought in a quaint tale. A tale of a young, brooding adventurer. One that will leave no stone unturned in his quest. Take a seat, grab some corn bread, And... prepare, for the story of your life.

Hey! Welcome to the Journal of a Broken Adventurer! This collection of adventure maps is being created in the hopes of renewing some inventive creativity amongst the minecraft community and showing that it is just fine to reuse others techniques - within reason of course. So, I'll start off with a shot description of what we hope to achieve in the coming weeks and months (possibly more?).
So the idea is to have an adventure map series run across several maps instead of all in one. This will let us release content for feedback sooner and be able to grow an audience over time. The story will be mastered as much as possible, the creations are of high quality and the adventure will be most certainly fun and immersive!
Without further ado, the first map!
Part 1: Legacy of Bartimus
The darkest of days
Not going to release too many story details yet, but here is the general gist of it.
You are a young farmhand by the name of Harold Fangley. You were a very obedient child, but over time have come to see that times are getting rough for your family. One day, you are searching for an old letter you lost and finds an old journal. Its the journal of one of your ancient ancestors, Bartimus Fangley! You read through the journal and find a most disturbing tale.
Journal entry 427, 826 Dwwarven Turmtide
Oh dear, now hes gone and done it. Old Fartungle has gone and ruined everything! I told him not to brag about it. Now they've destroyed it all, and its infecting them by the hundreds and thousands! God damn it! If only there were time to save them, even just a few. I should depart before it gets to us, or were dead! Dead i say! I don't have enough time to retrieve my belongings, so I'll have to come back later and get them from underneath the docks, if I can get back here. I hope my sword doesn't rust, hah!
Bartimus
You realize whats going on! You've lived here for so long with the mining that you haven't even asked what its about. Does that mean that its an entrance to Dwarven ruins? Can they truly all be dead? And what about these lost belongings, are they still there? Perhaps they will make you rich, or make you famous. And so the tale begins...
