Hello people of PMC! Today i'm bringing you something quite unusual, a Russian nuclear submarine! Its called the K-19, one of the early nuclear submarines. It was built in the 60s, and was in use untill the 90s. Its known for all the accidents it suffered, like fires and problems with the reactors. Its also made a movie called "K-19 The Widow Maker".

The sub is in 1:1 scale, and comtains a full & realistic interior. (although it does miss one compartment, the real one had 10, this one has 9)

Do missiles really come out from the tower on the K-19? If so i didnt know about that, cool info :)

Yeah they did. Todays subs are probably bigger (or the missiles are smaller) so they fit in the main structure, but cause of the lenght of the missile, and the size limitations on the sub, they had to put it in the tower. Althought this were the first ever sub to actualy have missiles, and success fully launch them from sea. But it had to surface though, they dont need that anymore.
