the floor is a 50x50 circle made from iron blocks, then the layers below are red and green wool and sandstone. the "power pole" is rope from the rope mod.

You should just make the inside the time chamber entrance with a portal to the nether, then fill the nether to make it look like it did in the show.

I did have a portal to the nether in one design, but the purple kept seeping through the walls. will definitely do this though, as didn't think about shaping the nether to the time chamber

you can do a tower below the lookout =D and just make it a ladder obstacle course so it will be hard and take time to get there
