This map is a relaxing challenge with no dead lines or anything to worry about. However if you want to turn monsters on you can. It is made to be 1-6 group (1-27 players per group) map with 5 classes. King, Alchemist, Knight, Archer and Scout. When you spawn go to the town cobblestone tower and go to the basement to choose your class. If you are playing in singleplayer you can be multiple class but either way someone has to be the king.
If you have an Iphone you may want to get the "Unofficial Guide for minecraft users" app. The challenge is on that app. Also you can go to this website http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/607484-the-city-construction-challenge/
