The Kurtuluş Mosque (turkish: Kurtuluş Camii), a former armenian cathedral (Meryem Ana Katedrali; armenian: Սուրբ Աստվածածին) is one of the largest mosques in the turkish city of Gaziantep and was 1892 built as an armenian apostolic Church and was in 1980 converted to a mosque. The crosses were removed after it was converted to a mosque, the church bell which was poured by an armenian, who was living in Brazil was brought to a museum in Gaziantep later. Only a small part of the Church tower survived, on the upper part a minaret was constructed, it also got a second minaret next to it.
