This is a very large, eloquent Roman domus (or a house owned by richer peoples) that would have belonged to a very rich and important figure. In this case, it belongs to Tiberus Pompeius Triarius Africanus, a wealthy Roman senator and a Roman Legatus Augusti Pro Praetore/ Legatus Propraetor, or an Imperial military governor of a fictional province called Absit Aegyptvs (Far Egypt). The domus is 70 blocks by 100 blocks wide, or in other terms 7,000 blocks. It would not have been owned by anyone of any less social status, because this domus itself would have been extremely expensive- with land costing at 1 Denarius per 2 blocks, it would have costed 3,500 Denarii. For this build and texture pack, a Denarii is a gold nugget. Translating costs, it would have been 388 Aureii (Gold Ingots), or 43 talents (gold blocks). That would be JUST for the property.
Nevertheless, it is extremely well decorated- utilizing a special style I have used in some of my more decorative builds for different interior walls. It has a large marble atrium complete with peristylum and a decorated water basin, decorated floors, and other aesthetically pleasing qualities.
Rooms include:
- A small entrance area at the front, with bronze doors
- A wide entrance hall, with places to enter shops
- A decorated atrium room with marble floors, a peristyle, and a decorated water basin
- A triclinium, or formal dining room, where wealthy guests would have dinner parties
- A normal eating area for children and women
- A kitchen
- A large decorated tablinium, or office
- A stairwell downstairs (Downstairs not included.)
- Stables with horses
- A large, spacious garden with a statue and a colonnade
- Luxurious master bedroom
- Rooms for family members or guests
- A slave quarters
- An upstairs windowed area for storage or something else
