Here's a small concept I made for a viewer request - command block-driven ledges that you can placed against another block, and then either walk "through" or walk on top of.
If you want it as "one command", you can copy the command from here and paste it into a command block.
Activate the machine by pressing the "Start" button, and get a ledge item using the "Get Ledge" button.
