Hello all,
Lately I've been making a map called Legend of the Blaze God.
It's going to be a 5000 by 5000 block vanilla minecraft RPG map. All built without plugins or mods.
There will be a closed Alpha coming up in a few days from this post, and then an open alpha after that.
We've been working on this project around a week now, and as such there isn't much built.
Here's some basic information on the game:
There are custom items, classes, mobs, bosses, a custom level system using potion effects, and custom villager shops.
Mobs do not take knockback damage, and many have fairly high speed, making it a challenge for the player to PvE. No longer can a player just hide in a corner and knock back hordes of monsters.
There are many dungeons, and side quests that players can travel to or complete for XP and stronger items.
We look forward to working on this more in the future, and eventually releasing it :)
Also! You can join the server if you want to see it in action.
(The server is in snapshot 14w07a, and the IP is unavailable currently)
