A fully functional, realistically sized replica of the American P-38 Lightning.
The P-38 Lightning was a twin engined, twin boom heavy fighter developed in 1939 and used by the USAAF in 1941 during the Second World War. Being built with two engines, it had greater range, endurance and carry capacity than contemporary fighters of the time and was used as a fighter-bomber, night fighter, photo recon, and bomber escort.
It was armed with 4 Browning M2 heavy machineguns, and 1 20mm Hispano-Suiza autocannon in its nose cone. In addition to this, it could also be equipped with two 1000 pound bombs or a rack of 10 rockets.
This replica is armed with 5 Fireball HMGs. The central gun us Dropper fed, allowing for doubled capacity.
Place on runways or in mid-air for best effect.
IMPORTANT: Several blocks such as Stairs, Dispensers and Droppers may not rotate with the rest of the schematic if it is rotated, mirrored or flipped.
