Greetings! Welcome to the Islands of Madagascar!

This map was taken directly from NASA's height-maps of the world, scaled up for a higher resolution experience. The project contains realistic biome locations and includes the islands northwest and the islands east of the main island of Madagascar.

Please, if you are willing, take the time to give a comment or rating. I will gladly take suggestions of any kind. What would you like to see next?

Overview of the Project:

  • Approximately a 5,000x5,000 map. This is roughly a 1/14 scale of the island.
  • Smooth Biomes
  • Accurate Biome Locations
  • Varying Terrain and Oceans
  • Islands of the Northwest and East sides of Madagascar (They are a bit of a distance away!)
  • Dense Jungle
  • Custom Tree for the Highland biome
Tested on Minecraft version 1.12.2

Thank you Adric! I'm glad you like it.
I wanted to make it as realistic as possible within the limited knowledge of worldpainter I have.
Cheers.
