Howdy!

I made this map for nostalgic reasons.
You're here for the same reason, right? :)

How to download:
1. Once on Google Drive page, click the download button in the top right.
2. Unzip the folder with 7-zip or whatever.
3. Put the Mako Island into 'worlds' folder and resourcepack into 'resourcepacks' folder.


Backstory:
  I watched 'H2O: Just Add Water' in Ukraine when it first aired on Jetix (RIP 1990-2010). I always had an itch for magic. I'm sure most of us had fantasies about flying etc. I also watched W.I.T.C.H and damn are these two shows nostalgic.

  So, they stuck with me ever since. I did rewatch both of them not too long ago and sure, H2O has its odd cheesy moments but seeing how the girls try not to get caught and how they use their abilities is intriguing. The character dynamic is fun. I would've loved to heat up my bathtub for free, especially with today's economy LOL.

Fun Fact: I used WorldEdit and IRONICALLY Wurst mod (cause it's for hacking) for the SpeedNuker ability to aid myself in cave construction.

Being average with command blocks, I even managed to get a satisfying Moon Pool effect.

Oh that. That isn't a part of H2O, as it's the only show I watched. Mako Mermaids don't interest me. Sorry :)

a really cool map, unfortunately a lot of details are missing, it would also be nice if the island was forested and the coast didn't have so many cliffs. acuh the entrance through which the girls fell into the moon lake would be cool, or also the meerman cave from mako-simple mermaid

Hi, thanks for the tips.

I initially didn't add the rainforest as I thought it would change Mako's iconic shape since its scale is much smaller in MC and the trees would appear huge in comparison. However, the rainforest is ALSO iconic and would make the island look alive. So, I'll happily add it. Except it'll be oak trees.

I'll add the hole by the waterfall through which the girls fell.

I'll leave the cliffs as is because they appear to be huge when I look at Mako's reference images. They are steep and tall. The only accessible point seems to be the beach area.

What, like the girls' abilities? That's too advanced for me. If I knew how to, I'd also need to know what it'll do/look like. Though, you could find a datapack or a mod for powers and mermaid tails.
