-History: The town was founded as the Ironborn raids began to decrease, and trade flourished. House Riverwatch, now controlling a vital choke point on the Mander, began to collect exorbitant tolls from ships, much to the displeasure of traders and nearby lordships alike. Eventually, Houses Merryweather and Caswell brought House Riverwatch to their knees, seizing most of their holdings. The Caswells took the lands closest towards their stone bridge, while House Merryweather vassalized House Riverwatch and the small town. After Lord Owen Merryweather was stripped of his titles and lands, House Riverwatch and the accompaning town was gifted to House Fossoway of New Barrel, further inflating their coffers with trade. Now days, House Riverwatch remains a leal vassal to House Fossoway, and has begun to recover from its economic and political hardships.


Well here is Mandergate, a whitewashed town on the Mander.
