How to install Minecraft Maps on Java Edition

Mario is back and he's going to save the princess from... an Enderman? This map features you as Mario. The first part of the map is Mario finding clues in a Toad Village to find the Enderman. After finding all the clues, Mario is teleported to World 1-1. There he starts his regular Mario journey. There will be three worlds, each with three levels. So far, I have the "Clue Finding" part and World 1 completed. Keep watching my project uploads for World 2 and 3.

Inspired by another more famous Mario map. This map was made completely by me.

I do feel this map needs a little bit of work. Everything is in a dirt cube, and nothing is really visually appealing. I understand it's a parkour course, but it can at least have some interesting stuff going on in the background! Since it is unfinished, I can't really be too critical, haha. I guess I'll have to wait and see how it turns out when it's finished.

Oh and I forgot to say about the dirt cube thing: yes so far everything is a dirt cube but I plan for World one to be the nature on like in the real Super Mario games, well I was just about to tell you what the other worlds will be like. I don't want to give any spoilers but I will say that they are all different. But World 1 still could use some other stuff like maybe I could use different natural blocks other than just grass.

Hmm...Might I suggest future worlds take the form of levels similar to those of "Super Mario 3D Land"? What I mean is, it doesn't have to be straight left/right like the first world you've made, rather it can be 3 dimensional, and have floating platforms all around. If you're confused as to what I mean, look up some gameplay videos, and pay attention to the level design. Now, understandably, you won't be able to copy it 100%, seeing as how Steve can't jump like Mario, but you will get a feel of what I mean.

Thanks for the positive critisism. This is my first map so any suggestions to improve future ones helps. And yeah not much is visually appealing but I'm not really looking to be a pro map creator like SethBling or Hypixel I just want to make simple maps that are fun. I also really enjoy knowing that other people are enjoying something that I created. I'll be honest I only spent about 4-5 hours on the map.
