This is a mayan/aztec statue or sculpture that I made. It's 11x11 blocks and it's meant to loosely resemble ancient statues found in archeological sites.

I've made it primarily with different types of stone and some deepslate, I've used raw gold, gilded blackstone and invisible itemframes with honeycombs/blazefires for the eyes. It's been quite a challenge, this is the first time I have really made an effort of recreating something from the real world into minecraft from scratch with such inticrate details. I am pleased with the result. I think by using coppers or metals it might be possible to let the different parts of the statue be even more distinguisable, however I'm building it for a spawn area (for the Evening Hills SMP server) that is very much stone age mayan/aztec based so this fits the theme best.
