This is a (mostly) Medieval-style town I am building on a server as part of a larger project I am working on. This is part of an adventure map which utilises server plugins such as WorldGuard, VoxelPort and Citizens to create a much more versatile adventure experience than just a singleplayer map.
The story starts in a snowy mountain hamlet, and the player then follows a storyline which takes them through different places in different biomes, such as a desert town (complete) with huge pyramids full of monsters, traps, masterfully redstoned challenges and lots of treasure. Around the map there will be dungeons and many more settlements with different themes.
This town will act as a sort of base for the player as they take on all the challenges the map poses. The town is full of NPCs who will trade with you (at least one shop for every market you can think of!), blacksmiths who will repair for you, guards who will defend the town, and wizards who will do magical things and stuff.
From the town's VoxelPorts, the player will be able to travel to many more places, beat challenges and return to the town to sell treasures and buy more things if they want. The player will also be able to buy a plot of land in the residential zone and build a house there using materials they buy from the market!
I am open to looking into more features I could add to this map, please feel free to leave ideas and suggestions! Thanks!
