Hey! So today I'm gonna show you guys meteorites in Minecraft using the new snapshots of Minecraft 1.8. Here's how to set it up:
1. Download the schematic.
2. Import the schematic in your world using MCEdit.
3. Enter the bedrock cube using the iron door.
4. Place a redstone torch next to the repeater clock and remove it quickly to start the clock.
5. Summon a mob named "Meteorite" to summon a meteorite into your world!
This only works in 14w21a or higher-I can't insure working order in lower versions.
