In this Tutorial I'll show you how to build my version of a 3x3 minecraft Piston door that works in Minecraft Java 1.14.4. It incorporates a tiny 2x1 hipster door and observer blocks.

I spent about an hour getting this together properly. I used a slightly altered version of your design plus some extra materials. Though the drawback is that one side is now two blocks longer. I thought I'd share this, because of the basis being your design and I merely tried to make it more aesthetically pleasing. I highly appreciate your content and I thank you for this moment for me to practice my Redstone and ingenuity!
