I created a classic vanilla Skyblock map with no additional islands in the overworld. This is fine, because you don't need them. In the latest 1.17 Minecraft version you can get almost everything out of thin air.

This map was made for singleplayer and multiplayer. You can share your island with a friend. Let me know in the comments if you want a dual Skyblock map with two islands.

My plan is to update this project with every new future Minecraft version!

Map features:

World Border: 4400x4400 blocks map size (Prerendered in Overworld and Nether = this is why the file is about 500MB)

Biomes: Tiny biomes - biomes were generated with the old Minecraft 1.12 custom map generator and updated to 1.17. After that all the blocks were manually deleted.

Why?: It's annoying to travel hundreds and thousands of blocks to visit a different biome in Skyblock which is important for progress, so this step was important. Sadly the newer versions world generator does not generate these tiny biomes anymore - it's not possible - but also not important for this map. Everything within the world border is prerendered. You will get a warning message if you open the map in 1.17, but you can simply ignore that. Everything is working perfect!

Overworld: Tiny biomes + Void
Nether: Normal sized 1.17 biomes + Void
End dimension: untouched - a normal end dimension will generate

Additionally some biomes from 1.13 - 1.17 were added as they did not generate with the 1.12 world generator:



Datapack & Advancements:

This map has a custom made datapack with currently 67 Advancements especially made for Skyblock. They are all obtainable in Skyblock and give the player some todo-objectives. Some of them take use of the new 1.17 update. All of them are giving a variable amount of XP except for the "No limited resources!" Advancement. You will get it by entering an end city structure and receive an elytra. Reason: in Multiplayer there might be not enough elytras for every player within the world border, as the world border has the same size across all dimensions (not possible to change that).

There are also four custom loottables added to give some mobs additional drops. Some important items are still not renewable for 1.17 so the map is helping out.
