This is a 74LS181 ALU that I built in Minecraft (based off of a Texas Instruments schematic) after one of my college professors challenged me to do so. The reason why the zip file has a 'v2' in it is because this is the second iteration of the device that I made.
The 74LS181 can do several logic and arithmetic functions, which can be tested using the included table.
I retextured redstone lamps to show simple 0s and 1s. 0 being off, 1 being on.
Heres what the different levers do:
A3-A0 and B3-B0 are the two different numbers that are inputs to the various functions (in binary).
S3-S0 are 4 of the 6 inputs that control what function is being applied to A and B.
M is the mode, which switches between arithmetic and logic functions.
C(n) is the carry, which controls which arithmetic functions are being used.
F3-F0 is the output.
A simple program you can try:
M = 0
C(n) = 1
S = 1001 (format is S3 S2 S1 S0)
A= 0010 (converting to decimal, this is 2)
B = 0011 (converting to decimal, this is 3)
If you input those correctly, A and B will be added together, and F should be 0101, which is 5 in decimal.
