How about making a tunnel leading beneath a layer of ice and then having a storage room there?

You should put the coordinates of that place exact spot so its easier to ppl to find it out.

You should use snow blocks to make a round-ish igloo looking entrance, and when you walk inside, there is a cozy wood floor, a nice fireplace, and a small fishing hole :D
