Hello!
My name is Lucca, and I have something I want to show to you. This is my bank.
The build itself is not that impressive, but the fact that it's 100% built in survival is, I guess, so I wanted to show it off anyways.
The idea was to give my server some kind of economy. Now keep in mind - my server is 100% vanilla, so I didn't want to install an economy plugin. I wanted people to use gold as currency. To stimulate people to use gold, I created this bank.
The bank is functional - I set up a minecart system and everyone can access their own minecart, which is like their 'bank account'. Every week they get an interest rate of 3% on their gold ingots/blocks, and using this technique I was hoping that people would make a little gold-based economy themselves, which totally worked out!
The building process took way too long - I didn't record how much time I spent building it, but I had nothing to do for a couple of weeks, and I was kind of like having a sleep-eat-minecraft time.
This thing took me long. Very long.
Getting all the quartz, wool, and other recources was the horrible bit. Building it was kind of fun!
I hope you guys can appreciate my build, I think it worked out pretty well myself!
