In my spare time I've been creating small mini bases that provide many uses. This is my first prototype.

It's main purpose is to provide crafting, cooking, sleep, food sources, wood, cobblestone, enchanting, and potion making... while compacting all of that into a space as small as possible. The reason for this is mainly PvP reasons, but also - if you travel a lot in your world, you want to set up a temp shop quickly and easily if you plan to stay for awhile for whatever reason. If you have the materials, and know your base, you can build this is less than 60 seconds.

I'll be making different types and sizes for PvP purposes, as well as other purposes possibly, so if you're interested in seeing anymore, just let me know.

Now, if you put aside the ability to grow trees - Bedrock is at layer 4 and below. Standing on it, your eye level is level 6. Most people dig for diamonds at eye level 12, which means their feet are standing on level 10. So from bedrock level 4 to level 10 you have 5 blocks of space to work with. If you find space to dig into layer 4, meaning a patch of stone instead of bedrock, you have 6 blocks of space. This is ideal.

If you built this base on the bedrock level - meaning you put the first level of the base into the layer of bedrock itself (you found a 4x4 space of stone to dig out), it would mean the top of the base would be on level 7. Standing on your bed, your eye level would be on layer 9 - which means layer 10 is the stone above your head.

With layer 10 above your head, and being the layer most people walk on while mining for diamonds, it would serve very well as a small enclosed space for PvP purposes if you play on Anarchy Servers :]
