'Less is more.' - Peter Behrens
Hello, this is my minimalist house entitled 'Ikigai'.
'Ikigai' is Japanese for 'the reason for being [or living]', 'the self', and 'fulfilment'.
I gather my inspiration, elements, and philosophies from Usonia and organic architecture, Vitruvian architecture, Japanese architecture (namely, Zen), modern minimalist architecture, functionalism architecture, Ancient Roman, Ancient Greek, and Chinese architecture, along with critical regionalism architecture, modern clerestory windows, minimal art, 'truth to materials', 'form follows function', and names such as Frank Stella, Junzo Sakakura, Le Corbusier, Rudolph Schindler, Gustave Eiffel, Walter Gropius, Richard Neutra, Mies, Frank Gehry, John Pawson, Alberto Campo Baeza, John Vanbrugh, Tadao Ando, Alfred Waterhouse, Richard Rogers, Berthold Lubetkin, and Frank Llyod Wright.
Ikigai took an hour to build, from start to finish (including the landscape), without planning.
The 'plot' size is 128x128, and the house is 16 blocks [W] by 26 blocks [L] by 11 blocks [H].
Thank You.

your white circle build was kind of just stupid, too. it had no purpose or relation to your other minimalist builds
if you want a build to have meaning, especially a simple one, plan it out more.
I sometimes enjoy quick planless builds. I have been building on Minecraft since 2011, so, I know how to do many types of builds, at many scales. But, I know what you mean, and, of course, these are just my first 'quick' builds.
My next build is going to be a serious piece of minimalist architecture. It will be planned and will most likely take days to complete (it won't take weeks since you can literally build a city in that time frame).
There will be many serious builds of 'high effort'. Alas, as you know, creating your own architectural structures is remarkably difficult if you have no background or education (like me). So, planning will take some time, thus, first I have uploaded smaller, simpler pieces.
Thanks for the comment, at any rate! :)
