IMPORTANT THE SCHEMATIC ONLY CONTAINS THE PALACE REASON FOR THIS IS THAT IT WAS BUILD ON THE SERVER PREVIOUS WORLD.
ALSO THE SCHEMETIC USSES COCOA PODS AND ITEM FRAMES/PAINTINGS WHICH MEANS IF YOU TURN OR MIRROR THE BUILD IN MCEDIT THEY WILL MISPLACE FALL OF THE WALL OR DISAPEAR.
Welcome to the mystical and wonderfull city called mirage.
i always wanted to build a arab palace/city.
the project got started after i was going to make a arab fortress/castle.
the large towers you see at the palace wall where actually made for that castle which never got made.
the wall was quickly made and the idea of a server city came to mind.
orginally the city wasnt suposed to be this big.
the city was actualy going to be the area within the palace wall where there is now a garden and only a palace.
the palace was intended but became a bit bigger then expected.
the look of the palace was a bit inspired by the palace from the disney movie aladdin.
after i build that online instead of using the ground infront of the palace i started building a underground city instead of using the remaining space (THIS WAS REMOVED IN THE NEW CITY AND SCHEMETIC).
shortly after i made the garden on the empty space that was intended for housing a new server map was put up which meant that the old world was going to be deleted.
after it was moved to the new world i suddenly had a new open space to expand on and imdiatly started building the city (the original version in the old world was build on a small island).
just like the palace i wanted the city to be a bright and colorfull place but mainly give you the feeling as if you really where in a warm place.
i enforced this by ofocurse trying to create this arab architecture but also by making palm trees and adding other elements.
i guess i am the proudest on the elephant statues that are build through the city they are small for a statue but still very detailed.
and after that i would say the temple.
the online version isnt completely finished yet but in singleplayer it is (i always prebuild large structurs in single player).
the temple is based on a hindu temple from paramaribo you will notice which when you google hindu temple paramaribo.
i choose that hindu temple as my main inspiraion just because i liked it the most especially the roof.
there is still alot of work to do on the city and i dont know if i can finish it in time before we get another new world..
mirage is proberly the most colorful place i have ever build i also recomend to see the fountain floors without water.
