The Míngyuè-class heavy cruiser is a class of battlecruisers operating for the Imperial Nami Marine. Among modern warships, they are second in size only to large aircraft carriers, and of similar size to a World War I era battleship. The Míngyuè-class is intended to replace the remaining Eris-class and Misaki-class battlecruisers, due to this, the Míngyuè-class is often titled as a battlecruiser rather than a cruiser. A total of five ships has been ordered.
